TextUS FAQ

TextUS is a credit based texting solution, giving you the flexibility to purchase a set amount of credits and top them up when they've been exhausted.

Text credits are purchased on a monthy subscription. 

The credits will be automatically added to your account on the 1st of the month.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What does 1 text credit equal?

1 text credit covers a 160 character outgoing message.  There are NO credits used on inbound messages.

Do Text Credits expire?

No, once credits are added to your account, they are yours until used.

Can a number be shared?

Yes!  You can keep the same setup that you had with Zipwhip sharing numbers or setup individual numbers for users.

How do notifications work?

The user that sends the message will get a notification when inbound messages are received.  If a number is shared we know which user sent the message and will only alert that user on an inbound message.

Can I use the TextUs Plugin to send texts

No. All Texting must be done through Tracker itself in order to record in activities.

What start up costs are there?

Line 1 is free and carries no activation fee.
Lines 2+ carry a one time activation fee of $29 USD.

Are credits tied to individual numbers?

No, they are shared across all users that have TextUS setup.


How do I purchase a subscription

You purchase them directly from within Tracker in the Licenses & Credits section.

How do I manage my remaining credits?

Credits ae viewable inside of the Licenses & Credits section as well on the Dialoge box where a text is sent from.

Am I able to use my cell phone to text?

With the Tracker App you will be able to send messages right from your phone using the TextUS integration.  Our app is available on both IOS and Android.

Do I need to login to the TextUS User Interface at all?

Only for the initial setup!  TextUS was designed to be used inside of our platform, so you don't need to have it open and we recommend texting from inside of Tracker for the best experience.

How long does a typical setup take?

It can vary on a number of different factors, but most accounts are fully setup within 7-10 business days.
