Quick Search Enhancement - predictive search now available!

Our new predictive search functionality builds upon Quick Search; it learns which records you use most and bumps them to the top of your results. Plus, color‑coded tags (blue for your own records, green for recently viewed) make it crystal clear where to look, even when dozens of matches pop up. No more guesswork—just fast, confident clicks on the exact record you need. Use the directions below to learn more and turn this functionality on within your instance of Tracker.

To turn on predictive search:

Click on your name in the top right hand corner. When the drop down appears, click 'My Settings'.

Under 'My Quick Search', click and change the predictive search drop down to 'Yes'. Predictive search is now turned on.

Predictive Search Features:

Users will be able to specify the types of records they typically want to find and even define the order within the ‘My Settings’ area:

Secondly, when using Quick Search, you'll now see a list of your recent searches:

Additionally, predictive search will prioritize records that you own as well as records you've recently viewed.

For example, the record “Amy Johnson” will still appear in alphanumeric order, but with predictive search enabled, you’ll first see records you own, along with any records viewed recently—even if you don’t own them.

Clicking the arrow on the right side of the record will reveal additional insights including actionable items such as click-to-dial phone number(s) and an option that allows clicking to send an email.

These additional insights can be particularly helpful with records such as Placements which are linked to various records within the system, such as a Company, Contact and Candidate.

Last but certainly not least, customers should expect our new search to return records faster than before, providing a win all around.

 

Previewing Attachments on Form Submittals

Previously, customers could review the text content entered within form fields prior to committing and updating their Tracker database.

With this change, customers can now utilize the Form Sends area and preview any attachments included with the form submission prior to accepting.

Simply Collect, Review and Commit (or Reject) and let Tracker update the record and store the attachments for you.

 

Client Portal Enhancements

To make life easier for hiring managers, we’ve made two impactful updates to our Client Portal.

First, we have added a single-click option to hide all tasks with zero hours:

Next, we’ve frozen the header so that clients scrolling through long lists of timesheet entries know which workday they’re reviewing.
