Help Topic: Ringover Setup


Before starting the integration, ensure the following requirements are met:

  • Ringover Account: You must have admin access to your Ringover dashboard
  • Tracker RMS Account: You must have admin access to your Tracker RMS account. You must reach out to Tracker directly -via live chat, support ticket, or email at clientsupport@tracker-rms.com- and request an API Access Token to enable the Ringover integration.

 

Step-by-Step Integration Guide

 

Follow these steps to connect Ringover with Tracker RMS: 

 

I. Activate the integration in Ringover

 

1. Log in to your Ringover Dashboard

 

2. Go to the Integrations Section

  • Click on 'Store' in the left menu
  • Select 'Integrations' from the dropdown list

 

3. Locate "Tracker RMS" from the list of available integrations and click on it

4. Enter your Tracker RMS Access token 

 

 

6. Click "Activate"

 

7. Click again on the integration to open the configuration panel

II. Create your users list in Tracker RMS

 

⚠️ Important: for the integration to work properly, you need to create a report of your Tracker RMS users and insert the link in Ringover in "Link to user list".

 

Go to Tracker RMS and follow the 10 steps below:

Step 1. Go to Tracker RMS left hand side Menu > Reporting > Click "Create New Report"

Step 2. In the right column, Click on "Users", then click on the green arrow next to "Users"

Step 3. Expand the "User" section and Insert the Following fields in the report:

  • Email
  • Full name
  • Licensed

Step 4. Scroll up and Expand the "General" section, then insert the "User ID" field in the report.

You will get this result:

Step 5. Click the Preview button, and Click "No"

If your report columns look like this example below, you can proceed to the next steps. Otherwise, double check the previous steps.

Step 6. Click the Save button

Step 7. Give your report a name. Then Save.

Step 8. From the Reports page, click the "Export" button, then click "Report2Excel Link"

Step 9. Click "Create link"

III. Map your Tracker users with Ringover users

Go back to your Ringover Dashboard > integrations > Tracker RMS settings, paste the users report link into "Link to user list"

Open the "+ Manage users" link.

In the pop up, users who will have the same email will appear in the "Automatic" tab.

If your users have different emails in Tracker vs Ringover, you should map them manually from the "Manual" tab, as shown below:

Once the user mapping is complete, do not forget to click "Save".

For a quick start, from the integration panel:

  • Turn on the synchronization (Sync V4 + Call by call) of your contacts and candidates to ensure that all profiles are up-to-date and available in your Ringover interface.

Additionally:

  • Verify that the users who are going to use the integration have their call recording enabled in the Dashboard user settings, if you want to benefit from the call recording link, transcript link and summary in your activities.
  • Install the Ringover click-to-call extension in your browser.
    Once the extension is installed, the phone numbers in Tracker RMS will be highlighted. 

You can now make a test call by clicking on a candidate's phone and verify that this is logged in Tracker RMS as an activity:
