Work Smarter, Not Harder: New Features to Supercharge Your Recruiting Workflow

We've rolled out powerful updates designed to help you move faster, stay organized, and spend less time clicking—so you can focus on what matters: placing great candidates.

Organize Candidates Your Way with Custom Categories

Stop forcing candidates into generic buckets. Now you can create custom categories that match how you actually work, whether that's "Awaiting References," "Top Priority," "Needs Follow-up," or whatever makes sense for your process.

What you can do:

  • Create unlimited categories tailored to your workflow (Tools & Settings | Placement Settings)
  • Tag candidates on your Longlist and Shortlist with up to 3 categories each
  • Filter and sort by category to instantly find who needs attention
  • Categories automatically carry over from Longlist to Shortlist—no duplicate work

This feature is optional and only appears once you configure it—keeping your interface clean until you're ready

Your Most-Used Actions, Always One Click Away

We analyzed how you work and realized you're probably hitting the same 3-4 actions all day long. Why should you dig through menus every single time?

Pin your go-to actions to the top of your Shortlist menu and knock out tasks faster. Hover over any action to see the pin icon, click it, and boom—it's always there when you need it. Your pinned actions save automatically across all jobs.

Pro tip: Once you've pinned your favorites, collapse your menu for an even cleaner view.

 

Find the Right Email Template Instantly

Hunting through dozens of templates to find the right one? Those days are over.

New template management features:

  • Filter by "My Templates Only" to cut through the noise
  • Search by name or subject line to find what you need in seconds
  • See template owners at a glance so you know who created what

Available both in Tools & Settings and right when you're sending an email—because context matters.

Smarter Document Sorting

We've updated the default sort across all document repositories to show your most recent files first. Of course, you can still sort however you want by clicking any column header—but now the default actually makes sense.

The Bottom Line: Less clicking. Less searching. More time placing candidates.

 

Faster Applicant Screening with RAG Rating in Candidate Quick View

Screening Job Board applicants just got a whole lot quicker.

You can now apply RAG ratings directly from the Candidate Quick View screen within the Job record's Job Board Applicants block — no more jumping between screens to assess and categorise your candidates.

Simply select one of three RAG options to rate each applicant:

  • Green - Suitable,
  • Yellow - Maybe,
  • Red - Unsuitable.

As soon as you make your selection, you'll automatically move to the next applicant record, keeping your workflow flowing without any extra clicks.

For recruiters managing high volumes of Job Board applications, this is a real timesaver.

What used to require multiple steps can now be done in seconds, letting you power through your applicant list and focus your energy on the candidates who matter most.
