This month's updates focus on reducing manual steps and keeping the information you need closer to hand.
You can now request referee details directly from candidates via a personalised email link, with responses flowing straight into the candidate record. There's also a new setting to control who gets assigned as Candidate Owner when applicants come in through a Job Board, giving teams more flexibility to match their own workflows.
On the search side, the Longlist Quick View now shows only exact keyword matches, bringing it in line with the Longlist view for a more consistent and reliable count. Shift Planner users get a clearer picture too, with timesheet booking status now visible directly on Shift Cards - no need to dip into the Timesheets module. And Agency Details are now surfaced on the Candidate Quick View, so you can check that information without opening a separate record.
Requesting Reference Details
You can now request referee details directly from candidates via email, eliminating the need to chase this information manually.
Using a dedicated tag available in email templates associated with a Candidate, Placement, or Placement Activity, a personalised link is automatically generated and embedded in the email.
When your candidate follows this link, they are presented with a simple form where they can submit contact details for three referees.
Once submitted, the information is automatically populated into the References block on the candidate record, and you will receive a confirmation email notifying you that the details have been provided.

Default Owner for Applicants via Job Board
We've added a new setting that controls who is assigned as the Candidate Owner when a candidate is created through a Job Board application.
In Tools & Settings > Applications Settings > Job Settings, under the Job Board section, a new dropdown lets you choose from the following options:
-
First Job Owner - assigns ownership to the first owner listed on the job
-
Main Job Posting Contact - assigns ownership to the primary contact for the job posting
-
Default Candidate Owner - uses the default owner defined in Candidate Settings
The relevant alerts will be sent to whichever user is assigned ownership.
This gives customers the flexibility to align the setting with their individual workflows.
Longlist Results | Quick View CV/Resume Hit Count & Exact Match Only
The Search Keywords banner on the Longlist | Quick View | CV/Resume tab has been updated to show only exact keyword matches (case-insensitive), removing the partial match counts that were previously displayed.
This brings the banner in line with the Longlist view itself, which has always counted exact matches only, ensuring a consistent and accurate keyword indicator across both surfaces.
Matched keywords as well as being highlighted directly in the CV/Resume, are colour-coded to make it easy to see at a glance which search terms appear and where.

Agency on Quick View
In addition to viewing directly on the Candidate record, and on Placement Records, Agency Details can now be seen on the Candidate Quick View.
This is helpful for example when looking at your shortlisted candidates, you don’t have to open another record to see this information.
Shift Planner | Timesheet hours booked
Shift Cards in the Planner now display timesheet booking status directly, giving shift planner users a clear view of which candidates have submitted their timesheets, without needing to leave the Planner.
This also removes the need to grant those users full access to the Timesheets module.
They can now monitor and chase outstanding timesheets from within the Planner itself, reducing the risk of timesheets being inadvertently amended by users who only need visibility, not edit access.
