Introduction
The Activation hub, this is where your system administrators control which Agents and Plugins are available Agency-wide.
Access to the Activation hub is granted via User Group permissions. If you have permissions, you can access in two ways, either via Tools and Settings and the Users settings group, or via the main menu.
Agents & Plugins
In the Activation Hub we see both Tracker Agents, and Plugins, with tabs at the top to filter between those or see everything in one screen.
Essentially, Agents are back end, they run without you thinking about them, and Plugins are front end, where you might need a little input.
Some plugins need an extra set up step, enabled per user in their own My Settings plug in area.
Worth knowing so you're not left wondering why something's live for one consultant and not another.
This is the area you come to when you want to add and subscribe to an agent or plugin. You are in control and you decide which of these will be of most benefit to your business.
If you're not sure what one will do, you can click on the tile for a description.
Some agents are free to use, others may incur subscription costs.
Subscribing to a Plugin Example
In this example we’re going to subscribe to the plugin "Google Address Look up".
This is a Plugin that also requires individual users to enable it in their My Settings, so we’ll also include that here.
Step One - Click Add to add it to the subscription basket.
Step Two - Click Subscribe
Step Three - Tick to agree to terms and click Confirm
That’s it, its now added to your Tracker.
Any user that wishes to use this particular Plugin will also need to enable it in their My Settings.
Step Four - Toggle on in My Settings
Step Five - Ready to use. Simple start typing an address, and Google will give you options to choose from.
