Help Topic: TrackerAI Early Release FAQ

Everything you and your team need to know about EVA and Agents during Early Release

The Basics

What is EVA?

EVA is Tracker's built-in AI assistant. She lives right inside your Tracker instance, no separate app, no new login. Talk to her like a colleague, or type to her like you would any AI chat tool, and she'll help you get things done faster: answering questions about a candidate, client, or job, drafting content, or taking direct action on a record when you ask her to.

What can EVA actually do?

She can answer questions about records on the page you're viewing, help write and improve content like CV summaries, cover emails, and job descriptions, take actions on screen based on what you ask (shortlisting a candidate, logging a call, setting a reminder), and suggest a logical next step after every response, which you can action with one click.

What are Agents, and how are they different from EVA?

EVA answers when you ask her something. Agents are different: you hand them a task, and they just do it, no back-and-forth required, no supervising step by step. Think a Screening Agent that scores an entire shortlist while you're on another call, or a Resume Formatter that turns a raw CV into your house style in one click.

Which agents are available during Early Release?

  • Alignment Scorer
  • AI Screener
  • Resume Scrubber
  • Format Template
  • Resume Summary

You'll find all of them in the Activation Hub, where you subscribe, and Agent Studio, where you configure them to run automatically off a trigger or on demand whenever you need them.

What does each agent actually do?

  • Alignment Scorer: ranks a candidate against a job spec and gives you the reasoning behind the score, not just a number.
  • AI Screener: writes tailored screening questions the moment a job is created.
  • Resume Scrubber: strips personal, identifying details from a CV before it goes to a client.
  • Format Template: reformats a CV into your agency's house style.
  • Resume Summary: generates a structured summary of a candidate's profile and suitability.

Can an agent run automatically, or do I have to trigger it myself every time?

Both. In Agent Studio, you can set a trigger, like a candidate's status changing to Shortlisted, and the agent runs on its own from then on, no one needing to remember to kick it off. Or you can trigger most agents on demand, directly from a candidate or job record, whenever you want.

Getting Started

How do I turn this on for my account?

Someone on your team with access to Tools & Settings will need to go to Security Settings, scroll to the MCP (Model Context Protocol) section, click Generate, then Save Settings, and log out and back in. Once that's done, EVA and Agents will be visible.

Where do I actually find EVA once it's activated?

A new "AI & Agentic" section appears in your main navigation menu, hover over it and click New Chat to open EVA full-screen. You'll also see purple EVA icons throughout Tracker, on a job's shortlist and under a candidate's activity section, which open a sidebar version of EVA right alongside the record you're working on.

I don't know what to ask EVA. Where do I start?

Start with the suggested prompts that appear automatically, or grab one from the starter prompt library we've put together (10+ prompts organized by workflow). You can also just ask her plainly: "what should I do today?" is a perfectly good first question.

Is there training available?

Yes, a few layers of it. There's a live 30-minute webinar with Q&A, a full self-paced course through Tracker Elevate, our new learning platform (look for an email from elevate@tracker-rms.com titled "Welcome to Tracker Elevate"), and the Academy library for quick how-to articles whenever you need a refresher.

How long does the Elevate course take, and is it worth it?

About an hour. We'd genuinely recommend it, everyone who's completed it so far has told us they walked away actually confident using EVA and Agents day to day, not just aware the features exist. It covers setting up and running agents through triggers, manual runs, and the Activation Hub, plus how to read the usage dashboard, from both a recruiter's and a manager's perspective.

Cost & Usage

Will using Agents cost me anything right now?

Not during Early Release. As one of our first customers, you have full access to all five launch agents at no additional cost for the duration of the Early Release period. Once Early Release ends and TrackerAI moves to general availability, agents move to standard paid pricing. We'll give you clear notice before that transition happens, nothing changes on you without warning.

Where can I see my EVA prompt limit?

It shows in the upper right-hand corner of every EVA screen, so you can always see where you stand without needing to go looking for it. It resets every hour, and how many prompts you get per hour depends on your company's plan tier.

How do I know if my company has EVA?

Normally, EVA and Agents are only available on Professional and Enterprise tier plans. But as an Early Release participant, standard tier restrictions don't apply to you, your account keeps access to both EVA and Agents no matter which tier your company is actually on.

What counts as "usage"? Is there a limit?

There are three separate credit types. EVA Prompts are metered one per prompt. Agentic credits count one per agent run when you trigger something on demand. Automation credits count one per full sequence, so if a single trigger fires a chain of agents automatically, that entire sequence is one credit, not one per agent inside it.

Where can I check my usage?

Your Usage Dashboard, accessible from the main menu, shows exactly what's running, who's using what, and a forecast for the rest of the month, so you're never caught off guard by a limit.

Is there a separate permission needed to access the Usage Dashboard?

Yes. Access to EVA and the ability to create agents are controlled separately from dashboard visibility. A dedicated "View All Agentic Usage" user group privilege controls who can see agentic usage across the account, so it's worth checking that whoever needs dashboard visibility on your team actually has that permission assigned, not just EVA or agent-creation access.

What happens if I approach or hit my limit?

The dashboard will surface an upgrade option directly once you're approaching your allowance. You're not locked into upgrading your whole plan either, you can add a bundle for just the specific credit type running tight.

Trust & Guardrails

Is my data safe? Does any of this send information outside Tracker?

Yes, and no, in that order. Every agent and every EVA response operates inside guardrails, at a system level (so it stays focused on recruitment tasks and never wanders off-topic) and at an agent level (so it can't invent, infer, or embellish information that isn't already verifiable in your record). Nothing you do inside EVA or an agent sends your data to an outside AI tool.

Can EVA or an agent make something up?

No. Agents are scoped specifically to avoid this, a CV formatting agent, for example, will not add, infer, or embellish anything that can't be verified in the original document. That's a hard rule, not a setting.

Will you have MCP (Model Context Protocol) available?

Yes, later this year. MCP will let external AI tools connect directly to your Tracker data, with both read and write access available. If you'd rather start with read-only access and hold off on write access, that'll be an option too, it's entirely your call how much you open up.

Who can access EVA and Agents on our team right now?

During Early Release, access is limited to the individual who was personally selected, not your whole account. The rest of your team gets access when the full release happens. In the meantime, access to EVA, and to the Activation Hub where agents are configured, is permission-based, so you control who can do what once it's live for everyone.

What Happens Next

When does the rest of my team get access?

At full launch, alongside every other Tracker customer. Until then, this is intentionally just you, so you walk in already knowing your way around and can be the person your team turns to when it's their turn.

Will I be asked for feedback along the way?

Yes, a couple of short surveys during Early Release, nothing lengthy. If your experience stands out, we may also reach out about turning it into a case study, quote, or stat we can share with other agencies, always with your approval on anything before it's used.

Who do I contact if something's not working or I have a question that's not covered here?

Your CSM is your first point of contact, and questions, feedback, or anything that looks off are always welcome. You can also reply directly to any of our Early Release emails, they come straight to our team.
