If a placement has not been made from a Shift Job with Dynamic Rates applied, they can still be added on the placement record, and in turn show on the Assignment.
To set up Dynamic Rates against a placement we have the following steps:
First, from the Assignment, open the Placement Record.
Next, navigate to the Timesheet Settings block. Ensure the “Clock In/Out?” drop down is set to “Yes, apply a Dynamic Rate Rule Set”.
Under the “Dynamic Rate Set” drop down you can pick the rate to apply. As these are set on a placement by placement basis, this means you have the flexibility of applying different rates for different workers.
Initially, you’ll see the rates in Preview Mode. This lets you see what the resulting Rate Tasks would look like, alongside the standard rates for each task, before committing.
You can switch between different Dynamic Rate Sets while in Preview until you're happy with the result.
Once you’re happy with the results/selection, you can click Commit Now, and confirm the choice. These will then be locked in.
After committing:

The list becomes a fixed set of Tasks, and pay/charge rates can still be manually adjusted per task if they need to differ from the Rate Rule defaults

The Dynamic Rate Set cannot be changed once any timesheet has been submitted against the Placement so it's worth confirming the setup in the Rate Tester first

As timesheets are booked, the amount of time allocated to each underlying task becomes visible in this same list within the placement.
