The globe icon on full-width text fields (standard or custom) opens a Translate Field modal, so you can translate the field's content into an available language.
In the Translation window, first select the language you wish to translate, and click the Translate button.
You can then choose to either replace the original text or copy the translation to their clipboard - without leaving the record.
