Introduction

1. From within your Longlist you have options to apply flags to the listed Candidates; under Rank you can add RAG (Red, Amber or Green) flags, perhaps used during your vetting process. You can also apply Categories to your candidates, often used to display information beyond the vetting process. Additionally you can filter by these and more.

Apply RAG Flags

2. There are three level of RAG Colours that can be applied to the Rank icon.

3. Clicking once on the Rank icon will give the Candidate an Amber Flag,

4. this may be used to highlight the candidates you're unsure about contacting.

5. Clicking twice on the Rank will apply the Green RAG flag.

6. These are likely to be the candidates you want to move forward with.

7. Clicking 3 times on the Rank icon will apply the Red RAG flag.

8. This might be used on those candidates you know you don't want to move forward with.

Adding Categories

9. Via the Shortlist menu we can apply categories to the candidate for a more granular organization.

10. Expand out Categories to find those that have been created within your Tools & Settings > Placement Settings area.

11. Click the first category you wish to apply.

12. You can repeat these steps to add up to three categories per candidate.

13. Categories gives you greater flexibility in your workflow whilst providing a quick, visual way to see how candidates are grouped at a glance.

Categories applied to candidates under your longlist will automatically carry over to shortlist.

Using the Filter

14. Via the Filter you have a number of options that allow you to filter the list to specific records.

15. You can filter by RAG flags, for example to find all those you have flagged Green in order to bulk Shortlist them.

16. You can also filter by Category.

17. When you click into Category, the available list options will be shown. You can select more than one category.

18. Additionally you can filter by New Candidates only, Job Board Candidates only, those not yet contacted about the job, or hide Candidates you've already shortlisted.

19. Finally, via Longlist search you can add one or more keywords to search Candidate Names, Job Titles and CVs.

20. When you've added all your filter criteria you'll just need to hit go to see your results.
