Help Topic: Quick-Action on Activities


The main Home > Activities page is highly useful for managing your outstanding and current activities and so to make this more pro-active, we have included a new Quick-Action Menu within the list so that you can instantly call or email any of the parties related to the activity directly from the list.

This means you no longer need to use either Quick-View or open the record in order to instigate communication.

Accessing the Quick-Action menu

To access the new Quick-Action menu, simply hover over the row in the Activities table where the menu button will appear.  Clicking this menu button will present the telephone numbers and email addresses for each of the parties concerned.  For example, an activity linked to a Client, Contact and Candidate will display the call details and email details held in Tracker for each person or Company:

 

If you have click-to-call setup on your Tracker system, this will allow you to instantly call any number available, or clicking the email addresses will instantly popup and email window allowing you to send email templates as if you were in the record itself.

This also applies to the Activity lists within records so if your are viewing a list of Activities with a Client record, the same Quick-Action menu will be accessibly, speeding up the ability to send or call imeasurably:
