Help Topic: Video Emails


You can now fully personlize your emails using the Video Email feature.

Video Emails can be used in 2 main ways:

  • During the normal sending of an email to provide a personalized message which will remain live for a period of 7 days
  • As part of a standard email template (for example a business development email) where the message will remain live indefinitely

 

Sending a normal Video Email

If you have this feature enabled, you will see a Video Email button at the bottom of the email window:

 

Clicking this will open the Video Email window and allow you to record a message up to 30 seconds in length to embed into your email message.

 

You can record this as many times as you need to get the message right and on completing each recording, will be presented with a thumbnail and an option to either Record Again or Insert into the email.

Inserting the video message will place the thumbnail image wherever the cursor is within the body of the email and automatically link to the recording which will be relayed on your portal.

 

This thumbnail will link directly to a webpage where the recipient can watch the message and react accordingly:

 

If the recipient does not choose to reply to the actual email, or forwards the email to another person, they can use the Get In Touch button to send a message to the email sender:

 

This will alert the sender regardless of the person getting in touch, with the details of the recipient.  If the email is from a known Contact or Candidate in Tracker, a Lead record will also be created as part of this process.
