Help Topic: Filtering the Shift Planner


Please note that Shift Management is not available for the the Starter Package

Job Filters

To filter the Shift Planner, use the Filter button located at the top right of the "Top Half" containing the Client Shift Jobs:

 

From here you can define the filters to reduce the number of Shift Jobs appearing on the screen, including:

Client Name

This is a "contains" filters so will show all Shift Jobs for Clients containing the letters you enter

Job Name

This is a drop down list of all Jobs relevant to the current week allowing you to work Jobs individually

Location

This is a "contains" filters and allows you to filter on all Jobs in a given location, e.g. "New York"

Owner

This filters the Jobs based on the Ownership of the Jobs allowing for example, you to work only your own Jobs

Department

This filters the Department for the Jobs so if you only want to see, for example, Retail, Hospitality or Healthcare Jobs, you can select that here

Roster Status

This provides a simple way to show only those Shift where pending issues or unfilled shifts exist, offering the following options:

  • Unfilled
  • Part Filled
  • Filled

 

Clicking the Go > button will apply the filters and the Reset button will reset all filters, presenting all Jobs for the current week.

 

Status Filters

There is also a Status filter which is a multiple select filter and can be applied over the top of the Job filters above:

This allows you to hide or show all cards with the selected (or unselected) statuses.  In the example above we are hiding any card with either "Planned" or "Contacted" status from the Shift Planner.  This is very helpful for de-cluttering the Shift Planner when working with many Shifts.

Clicking the "All Statuses" option will reset this filter showing cards of any status.

 

Candidate Filters

There is also a Candidate Filter that shows a list of all Candidates within the current week's planner:

This allows you to narrow down the Shift Planner to a single Candidate, which is helpful if for example, addressing a clash for a specific Candidate.

Click the "All Candidates" option will reset this filter showing all Candidates again.
