You can now set targets on Custom Activity Types created by user.
Creating a Custom Activity Type
To learn more about Custom Activity Types please refer to the course on custom Activity Types; however these can be created in Tools & Settings > Customisation > Display Settings
This will automatically create the new Activity Type and accompanying widget on the dashboard. This initially will only report on the actual number of activities of this type as no target are set:
Setting Custom Activity Type Targets
To set a custom Activity Type target go to Tools & Settings > User Setup > User Targets and select the user to set the target for. Scroll down to the User Activity Kpi Targets section and click the + Kpi Target button.
Then select the custom Activity Type from the drop down and set the relevant target numbers and effective date:
The dashboard widgets will now update with the % of target acheived and clicking the widget will show the details of that actual achievement:
