Free Identity Verification Trial through TrustID Now Available 

TrustID, the UK’s premier Identity Service Provider (IDSP), is offering a free trial exclusively for Tracker clients located in the UK. Dive into seamless identity verification with 3 complimentary TrustID credits added to your account, valid until July 24, 2024. 

What is TrustID?

 Who is Eligible for the Free Trial? 
All UK Tracker clients can take advantage of this offer. Each verification may consume anywhere from 1 to 3 credits, depending on the type. Use your trial credits wisely to experience TrustID’s full potential. 

How do I Activate my Free Trial? 
Activating TrustID is a breeze. You can simply add the “Background Checks” block onto the candidate record using our Layout Designer. Need assistance? Our team is here to help, contact your client services rep or submit a ticket. 

How do I Get Additional Credits? 
Managing your credits is as easy as activating your trial. Access the “Manage Licenses” section in the tools and settings panel to add more credits directly within the tool.

Credits

In order to send Background Checks, your Tracker system must have Background Check Credits available so the first step is to purchase credits. These can be purchased within Tools & Settings by selecting 'Manage Licenses' from the Tools Home.

Adding the Background Check Record Block

From the Layout designer within the Candidate record screen, you will now see a record block called 'Background Checks' that you can add to your layout.

Sending Background Checks to be Completed

When credits are available, users will have access to add a Background Check via the candidate record.

Upon adding a new Background Check, you will be prompted to choose the type of check desired from a list of available options:

 

Creating the request will add a record to the grid and produce a unique link which can be sent out to the candidate. It is best practice to create a Standard Template within which you can add the unique link. For more on creating Standard Email Templates, click here

When a candidate follows the link, they will be taken to the TrustID portal:

Reviewing Background Checks

Within Tools & Settings, in the Onboarding section, you will see an option for Background Checks

Within the Candidate Background Checks area, you'll find a list of all checks and all statuses.

Manually Verifying a Candidate

There may be occasions when a Face to Face Onboarding is required, such as in the example below: 

For this scenario, select the airplane icon and send this to a Contact record for face to face Onboarding:

Upon following the link, the recipient will be taken to a screen like the one shown below:

Once successfully completed, you will now see that the Manual Check is Confirmed:

Running Reports Related to Candidate Background Screenings

We have added a new Report View called 'Candidate Background Checks' which will help you create custom reports which will return this important data.

From the Reporting area, simply click the button to create a new report:

Within 'Candidates' you will have a new option for Candidate Background Checks

Within this Report View, you will have access to the following sections:
